[03 — The work]

We began with two weeks of conversations — with operators, customers, the people on the warehouse floor whose lives the software shapes. The original system, like most software at this stage, had grown organically: useful in 2018, untenable by 2024.

Our approach was to draw a single clear line through the noise — one screen that surfaced the right information at the right time, without ceremony. We rebuilt the data layer from scratch, designed a typographic system for the dashboard that could handle dense information without becoming hostile, and shipped the first working version inside six weeks.

Eight months in, the platform handles the daily operational rhythm of the entire business. The team has since added two new product lines without commissioning new software — the system was designed to absorb them.

They didn't just deliver software — they re-taught us how to think about our own operation. The audit alone was worth the engagement.
